Tango Spleen Orquesta, created by the argentinian musician Mariano Speranza and based in Italy, is acclaimed as one of the most successful tango ensembles around the World today.
After the brilliant debut at the 2011 edition of the Festival Nacional de Tango de La Falda in Argentina, Tango Spleen was invited to such prestigious international tango festivals as Torino Tango Festival (Italy), Trieste Tango Festival (Italy), Tarbes en Tango Festival (France), Tango Rio Festival (Russia), Tango d’Amore (Ukraine), Monte-Carlo Tango Festival (Monaco), just to name a few.
In 2013 Tango Spleen was invited to take part in “A passo di tango in onore di Papa Francesco”, a show held in Rome to celebrate the new argenitnian Pope, which was broadcasted live by main international TV and radio channels.
Tango Spleen is regularly touring as the leading orchestra of different tango shows. It is featured in the Show “Tango de mi Buenos Aires” by the Tango Rouge Company of Yanina Quiñones and Neri Piliu, with over fifty performances and two international tours in Russia,
Ukraine, Italy and France.
The other shows include “Tango una cuestión de amor” and “Esto es Tango” for Teatro No’hma in Milan; “Tango Macho” with the company Los Hermanos Macana; “Mi danza, mi musica, mi historia” at the Auditorium Paganini in Parma; “Tango sulle Onde della Memoria” in Udine; “Simplemente Tango” for the Padova World Music Festival and “Tango Fatal” at Teatro Politeama Rossetti in Trieste.
Tango Spleen has released three albums: “Canto para seguir” (2015), “Típico” (2011) and “Tango Spleen” (2010) which contains the original piece “Milonga Schupi”, the winner of the national competition “Suoni Senza Confini” 2010.
