Veronica was born in Buenos Aires, and her interest for tango awoke at the early age of 12, when she began attending milongas with her aunt, a devoted milonguera. Together they went to see Miguel Angel Zotto´s show, “Una noche de Tango”. This experience moved Veronica so much, that she subscribed for the tango classes as soon as she began secondary school.
From that moment Veronica’s life became bound with tango.
In 1999 she continued her training as a dancer, attending classes and workshops with different masters such as Gloria and Rodolfo Dinzel (Dinzel Studio), Sebastian Arce and Mariana Montes, Nito and Elba (Club Gricel), Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau, Gavito and Maria Plazzaola (La Galeria del Tango). In the following years Veronica expanded her knowledge by studying ballet, jazz dance, stretching, Argentinian folklore, various Latin dances and Rock&Roll.
Veronica began her professional career in 2009 and in 2011 she began dancing with Alejandro Beron. They performed in many milongas in Buenos Aries, such as Club Sunderland, Salon Canning, Club Villa Malcolm, Club Fulgor de Villa Crespo to name a few. They taught lessons in Tango, Vals and Milonga in such established schools as Estudio Mario Morales, Escuela Argentina de Tango, Escuela de Tango de Buenos Aires and Salon Canning.
In 2012 and 2013 Veronica and Alejandro became finalists at the Metropolitan Championship of Buenos Aires in the categories Tango, Milonga and Vals and won the 2nd place in Milonga, and the 3rd place in Vals. In 2013, 2014 and 2015 they were finalists at the Mundial de Tango in the category Tango Salon.
In 2016 Veronica started dancing with Damian Mechura, teaching and performing in Buenos Aires and touring all over Europe and USA. In the same year Veronica and Damian became finalists at the World Championship in Buenos Aires in the category Tango De Pista.
From 2018 Veronica is sharing her time between BA and England in where she teaches together with Dante Culcuy in London, Oxford and other cities around the country.
